SBA Loans

Without a doubt, these are challenging times for all, including our communities and local businesses.

While Credit Union of Southern California (CU SoCal) understands the important role our small business play in our communities and the economy, we do not offer Small Business Administration (SBA) Loans and are not participating in the Paycheck Protections Program (PPP). We recognize that the SBA website incorrectly lists CU SoCal as a SBA Lender; however, we have not offered SBA Loans in many years. We sincerely apologize for the error and any inconvenience it has caused. We are working with the Administration to have our name removed as quickly as possible and recommend you check their website for another possible local provider.

To help you navigate small business options during these challenging times, please find information and links below.

The stimulus appropriated over $376 billion in relief for struggling small businesses:
  • $349 billion for fully guaranteed, low-interest, no fee loans of up to $10 million for small businesses to pay employees and keep them on the payroll.
  • SBA would forgive up to 100% of the loan if the borrower has retained the same number of employees as when they received the loan.
  • These loans are available to most businesses under 500 employees, non-profits, the self-employed, startups, and cooperatives.
