Brea, CA— On January 23, 2012, Credit Union of Southern California (CU SoCal) was honored with four Service Industry Advertising Awards (SIAA). Recognized for excellence in execution, creativity, quality, consumer appeal, and overall breakthrough advertising content, CU SoCal earned a Gold Award for a video documenting its annual Food Distribution charity event, a Bronze Award for the redesign of its website, another Bronze Award for its 2010 Annual Report, and a Merit Award for a podcast that highlights the organization’s corporate culture.
Implemented in 2003, the SIAA aims to recognize the advertising excellence of the service industry across many platforms. In the Ninth Annual Service Industry Advertising Awards, CU SoCal competed against more than 1,000 institutions and 400 advertising agencies nationwide. A national panel of judges reviewed nearly 2,000 entries submitted in this year’s competition and awarded 146 Gold Awards, 111 Silver Awards, and 88 Bronze Awards.
