Starting March 1, your credit union Membership account terms and schedule of fees will change. Enclosed you will find information including a new Schedule of Fees and About Your Accounts brochure. Please review these pieces and retain them for your records.

Checking account users will receive a free box of CU SoCal corporate-image checks by April 15. Please start using your new checks upon receipt. Your Pomona Postal checks will continue to clear until September 1, 2022.

Direct deposits and automatic payments (such as your payroll, Social Security, and gym membership fees) will continue without interruption until September 1, 2022. However, you will be required to update your credit union account numbers and routing and transit number before that time. On or after March 1, 2022, please update these accounts using CU SoCal’s routing and transit number and your new Member number. You will receive your new CU SoCal Member number shortly before March 1, 2022.

Update account information with Social Security by calling 1.800.772.1213, or by visiting www.ssa.gov. To make the update, you will need your Pomona Postal account and routing and transit numbers, as well as your new CU SoCal account and routing and transit numbers. CU SoCal offers you the option of receiving monthly statements electronically. Please refer to the enclosed Online Banking Step-By-Step Guide for instructions on how to enroll. Step-By-Step Guide.
CU SoCal charges a standard paper statement fee of $2; however, this fee will be waived through May 31, 2022. Starting June 1, the standard fee may be applied to your account. Please view the Schedule of Fees to learn how the fee may be waived.

There will be no changes to your loan terms or rates.

A prefix will be added to your existing Member number to make your new CU SoCal Member number. Your new Membership number will be provided to you before March 1.

CU SoCal offers you the option of accessing your accounts and paying bills online through your desktop computer or our Mobile Banking app. Please enroll in CU SoCal’s free Online Banking as early as March 1. For your reference, please review our Online Banking Guide to help you set up your CU SoCal Online Banking service.

Overdrafts linked to your savings to cover your checking account will continue. Starting March 1, you will also have access to CU SoCal Courtesy Pay. This service will help cover transactions when you need added financial protection the most. See our Courtesy Pay brochure and Schedule of Fees for additional information. Fill out the Courtesy Pay Authorization form to sign up for Courtesy Pay. Once complete, bring the form to any CU SoCal branch.
