IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT PROCEDURES FOR OPENING A NEW ACCOUNT

To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, Federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify and record information that identifies each person who opens an account.

What this means for you: When you open an account, we'll ask for your name, address, date of birth and other information that will allow us to identify you. We may also ask to see your driver's license or other identifying documents.

Your ability to withdraw funds:

Our policy is to make funds from your deposits available to you on the first business day after the day we receive your deposit. Electronic direct deposits will be available on the day we receive the deposit. Once they're available, you can withdraw the funds in cash and we'll use the funds to pay checks that you've written.

For determining the availability of your deposits, everyday is a business day, except Saturdays, Sundays and federal holidays. If you make a deposit before close of business on a business day that we're open, we'll consider that day to be the day of your deposit. However, if you make a deposit after close of business or on a day we're not open, we'll consider that the deposit was made on the next business day we're open.
